Membership Benefits of GPT Professional Status:
-eligibility to collect tournament trophy (upon 1st Place finishes) and potential winning purse at each course; official recognition as tournament winner, both online (through press releases in cooperation with the Associated Press) and in the official GPT Record-Books
-the potential accrual of GPT Championship Points (based on tournament finishing position) so as to potentially qualify for the post-season
-updated player profiles and GPT points tracking on website
-access to real-time electronic leader-board at each tournament www.golfgamebook.com/ and season long member statistics held within application and uploaded to player profiles after each tournament
-certified tour card and copy of the Glover Park Rules of Golf Constitution
-open invitations to monthly GPT meetings, the pre-season Bing Crosby Charity Clambake, post-season GPT Awards Banquet, and discretionary yet-to-be-thought-of midseason golf and non-golf related social events
Application Process:
To become a Certified GPT Professional and join the tour, the amateur in question shall declare his intention to turn pro to the Board of Directors. Upon such
declaration, the board shall promptly review the applicant’s cultural proficiency, ethical and moral standing, philanthropic history, and commitment to the spirit
and legitimacy of the tour; with a 2/3 vote necessary for approval.
Once membership dues are collected (one-time $100 for 2012) to sustain GPT operations, the applicant shall be entitled to all rights and privileges thereunto
appertaining which full Professional GPT Membership entails.
